Born in 1979, in Knowlton, Quebec.
I grew up in a French Canadian family in the picturesque village of Knowlton, Quebec. I have drawn avidly since childhood and pursued my passion for Fine Arts in Montreal where I trained at Concordia University in various mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, and video. When I married and moved to Winnipeg, I focused on painting at University of Manitoba’s School of Art. I graduated with honours and began painting professionally in 2005; I found inspiration in the amazing skies of the Canadian prairies. I work and host private visits by appointment in my studio in Winnipeg.
I am inspired by the whirlwind passage of weather between land and sky. My landscape art documents the discovery of ephemeral places existing only for a moment in the ever-changing movement of clouds and light in the sky. I create atmospheric paintings that offer the ethereal feeling of a journey with water soluble oil paint on canvas.
